M.S. in Couple and Family Therapy Info Session
Come learn more about the Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy (MS CFT) Program housed in the Department of Human Development and Family Science. The full-time, residential, two-year program of study is designed to meet the accreditation standards set by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) and equips students to pursue licensure as Marriage and Family Therapists. The MS CFT program is dedicated to training clinicians in systemic, relational approaches to therapy. Students choose between thesis and non-thesis options, catering to those considering doctoral studies. The thesis option is ideal for students who wish to pursue research and academic careers post-masters. The non-thesis option is ideal for students who choose to pursue full-time employment as a therapist post-degree. Learn more about the MS CFT program and CFT profession. Students planning to apply for the program for the 2027-28 academic year are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting to get the most updated information about the application process and program requirements.
