- Why I chose my major
I originally started in business, but after transferring I realized it just wasn’t something I was genuinely interested in. I’ve always been into clothes and style, but more from a branding and lifestyle perspective than just fashion itself. Fashion Merchandising felt like the perfect mix of creativity and business, especially with a focus on brand management, which is what I see myself doing long-term.
- What I like most about FACS
What I like most about FACS is how hands-on and real-world focused it is. The professors are great and the advisors are extremely supportive, which makes a big difference. I also really enjoy that the classes are smaller, so you actually get to know the people around you and build real connections. It creates a more personal environment while still preparing you for the industry.
- Post-graduation plans
After graduating, I will be moving to New York City to begin a full-time role with Kering as a Client Advisor. I’m excited to start my career within one of the leading luxury groups and gain firsthand experience working with high-end clients and brands. Long-term, I plan to leverage this experience to move into brand management and continue building a career in the global fashion industry.
