- Why I chose my major
Growing up, I have always been creative and loved to make things. I came into UGA undecided, but after talking to various advisors and students in the program, I decided to pursue Furnishings and Interiors (residential interior design). I love all things design and am so excited to pursue a career in interior design and residential construction!
- What I like most about FACS
FACS has such an incredibly positive, encouraging and supportive community of staff and students. Being in a smaller college has also allowed me to make meaningful connections with both my professors and peers. I have loved being a part of a cohort within FACS and have made lifelong friends! I truly value the many opportunities, experiences and relationships that FACS has provided me with.
- Post-graduation plans
I am attending Auburn University to pursue a master’s in building construction! I plan to work for a residential architecture and design firm as an interior designer/project manager for renovations and new build construction.
