- Why I chose my major
I began sewing at 7 years old. From that moment, I knew I wanted to make fashion my career. Throughout middle and high school, I worked on costume design and fell deeper in love with the craft. I knew that FACS offers a top-notch fashion program so when I was admitted I knew that it would be my home!
- What I like most about FACS
All my instructors have been extremely knowledgeable in different sectors of the fashion industry and they’re always able to provide me their own perspective on a topic. I’m also extremely grateful for all the equipment available for me to use. In our labs, I have access to industry sewing machines and dress forms and that helps me make quality garments.
- Post-graduation plans
I plan on working in technical design and starting my own company doing tech design and garment construction consulting.
