- Why I chose my major
I chose financial planning because I have a passion for personal finance and serving others. I’ve always been interested in how people manage their money and how financial decisions impact their overall well-being. Studying financial planning gives me the potential to use my strengths to make a real difference in people’s lives by helping them build confidence and reach their goals.
- What I like most about FACS
What I like most about FACS is the strong sense of connection and purpose that runs through everything we do. The college fosters an environment where students can grow personally and professionally, supported by incredible faculty, peers, and meaningful service opportunities. I especially appreciate all of the opportunities for professional development. FACS is truly invested in its students and dedicated to helping us succeed.
- Post-graduation plans
After graduation, I will intern with Cannon Financial Strategists to gain hands-on experience before attending a one-year graduate program through FACS to earn my master's in behavioral financial planning. My ultimate goal is to work in a role where I can help people reach their goals by being either a CFP®, an AFC®, or both!
