- Why I chose my major
I have always been an inherently creative person, and in high school I developed a specific interest in fashion. I did not know much about what I could do with that, but I just searched where “Fashion” was some sort of major listed. Especially at UGA, I realized I could learn so much that I didn’t even know was within the fashion industry.
- What I like most about FACS
FACS offers such a close-knit community in a huge pool of what the University of Georga is. I am recognized by my professors and classmates, and we form true relationships and connections through this closeness. FACS also offers such a variety of majors that some might not think relate at all, but we all relate through the love of working for and with people – something that has become a huge value of mine since coming to college.
- Post-graduation plans
I will be studying abroad in Ireland with the Office of Student Success and Achievement on a professional development trip where we will visit different businesses and cultural spots – deepening my love for new places and people. After that, I plan to take one last summer in Athens enjoying our beautiful town, saving up to hopefully travel some more and figuring out what I am meant to do!
